Matt was born and raised in Yorkton Saskatchewan, deep in the heart of the perogy belt.  He moved to Lake Louise in 1993 and has lived there since, except for a year and a half overseas.  He has worked in the heli ski industry since 2003 and has been an ACMG hiking guide since 2004.  He presently resides in Revelstoke, and in the Spring of 2009 acheived his ACMG Assistant Ski guide certification.  In the off-season he is an avid climber, fly fisher and enjoys canoe trips in the cedar strip canoe he built.  We are happy to have Matt on board with us at Crescent Spur. 

Matt's newest role and most important job is 'daddy' to his son Samuel, born in early November, 2009! Congratulations Matt!
