Adam moved west from Toronto in 1992 to pursue a degree in visual arts at Simon Fraser University. Shortly after, the lure of skiing and the mountains took him in a different direction. He switched to the College of the Caribou’s Adventure Guide Program. Adam started at Crescent Spur in 1998 as a trainee guide and has been a Lead Guide since 2001. He brings a wealth of experience from extensive ski touring in BC and previous employment in mechanized ski guiding.
During the off season Adam works with Storm Mountain Technical Services doing consulting work in avalanche control and forecasting. He also is an accomplished artist whose work can be seen around the lodge. Adam lives on his land in Dunster, a rural community close to Crescent Spur.
