Mark and his wife Regina started Crescent Spur Heli-Skiing in 1992.  Raised in Crescent Spur, Mark began his guiding career in 1982 in southern BC.  This early experience made him aware of the potential of the surrounding mountains for great heli-skiing in the Crescent Spur area.  Mark qualified as a Lead Guide in 1992 and continues to ski approximately one million vertical feet each season, giving him an intimate knowledge of the local mountains.  He still is excited about finding and developing new terrain.

Mark feels a deep commitment to this industry which has given him such unique opportunities and experiences.  He has been active in HeliCat Canada for many years, both as a Board member and member of the Standards Committee.  Mark is also a professional member of the Canadian Avalanche Association.
