Trent became a fixed wing commercial pilot in 1989 and switched to helicopters in 1992. Since then he has logged in excess of 8000 hours in a variety of helicopter situations from heli-skiing, mining exploration, fire fighting and power line work. Trent’s calm approach to his job is confidence inspiring. These days Trent has been busy establishing his own company, Ascent Helicopters, recently purchasing his own Bell 212 and Bell 205.
When not flying, Trent lives on Vancouver Island with his wife Withanie, son Gavin and daughter Madeleine. He enjoys mountain biking and surfing.
